    Getting ready for Kindergarten Calendar

    Do you have a 4-year-old child? Would you like to help your child get ready for kindergarten next year? Then join the library’s Getting Ready for Kindergarten calendar group. The group will meet once a month in the library beginning in October and enjoy books and activities. Calendar Night will encourage children’s curiosity and exploration. Books and activities are based on a framework of eight areas of learning promoted in the Rhode Island Early Learning Standards for four-year-olds. The program and calendars are free. For more information and to sign-up, contact the Children’s Room at 789-9507.
